Diane, In the Descendants of Lewis Akins, The following is listed: Lizzie Akins b. 1848 married Henry Brown She was the daughter of John Akins b. 1814 in Bulloch Co., Ga. and Mary Caroline Stanford m. Nov 2, 1851. I have been looking for ----- Akins married to Henry Brown and they were in Atlanta, Ga. they had a daughter Mary Emma Brown married Thomas Murphy Walraven in Atlanta, Ga. Mary Emma Brown was born 21 Sept 1874 where (?) she died 2 June 1960 in Atlanta, Ga. her parents are listed as Henry Brown father and ----- Akins mother. Because no one knew who her mother was because most of the ones that knew had passed away also. I had one Aunt that said that she remember a grandmother living with Thomas Murphy and Mary Emma but she did not know which one she was only six at the time and this Aunt passed away about 12 years ago. I am up against a brick wall on this. The only names that I have on the children of ------- Akins and Henry Brown are what they were called and not the full name and have not been abl to find a census that has these names on it in Fulton, Co. Georgia. I had just about gave up looking when I saw this in the Roots New Letter. I am trying to make a connection. I was asking if anyone had any other information on Lizzie Akins. Claudia
