My greatgreatgrandmother was Catherine AKIN married to William BOYD. I posted this to the list recently. They were married in 1848 in N Ireland. Not sure where yet but I ordered a copy of the marriage record from the Strabane GRO which I am hoping to receive any day now. I do not know if they ever came to the US. Their daughter Isabella married James FERSON. I was told James came back and forth from N Ireland many times. I don't know if Isabella accompanied him or not. I haven't found him on a passenger list yet. As soon as I get my copy from the GRO, and I know who Catherine's father was, I will post to the list. Gloria
