Hello Debbie and Everyone, Debbie has raised an interesting snag about our genealogy research......she is asking for info about a person who was living in 1970.....and chances are they are still alive. We do NOT deal with researching living persons within the Genealogical Community. Our research begins with our great-grandparents who are usually deceased.....in other words....genealogy deals only with researching dead folks. There is a reason for this......privacy laws. However, the adoption search area on the web does deal with locating living persons and they are quite a large group. Try contacting http://www.adoption.org Another tip is to request a copy of the AKINS listings in the 1970 phone book from the area in which they lived from the local library. Debbie try Seattle/Tacoma area first. Another tip is to try contacting the high school reunion search boards or news groups. Thanks for everyone cooperation....and have a great weekend, CAT Your AKINS-L ListOwner dkapp@fyi.net wrote: > Hello, > > I hope I'm not troubling anyone since I'm not actively researching > the Akins surname.
