Hi Carol, If memory serves me right, I think the family Glynda is searching may be from the York Cnty, SC families. This is where I believe her Peter was from. If you have info on a James Hill, I would love to know it. You are right about the daughter of Peter Ashbrooke marrying an Akin. I believe her name was Elizabeth and she married William Akin. This is all coming from memory.
