I am hoping that someone has information that will help me. I am new to this list and I am looking for Elias(aka Elisha, Elijah, Eli) Washington Akins(akens). Very little is known about him.. He was born January 23, 1858, died 1921. He married twice. First wife was Rachel Cowart of Pickens County Georgia. They had several children, Alice, Ophelia, Savannah, Greely. His second marriage to ? produced two more children. Elias' father was said to have died about 1861, and he may have had a sister named Amanda.
