I am seeking information on John Akins who was born abt. 1791-92 in Hudson N.Y. He died April 9,1867. He married Maria (Polly) Shewman or Sherman. The children they had that I know of are Edward b 1832 wife Hannah and Thomas born Feb 3,1837 in Hudson N.Y. He married Lavina or Larina Hallenbeck. Edward Akins was also married to a Jane Plass. Does anyone have information on John's parents or siblings?
