She is my gggm and married Johnston Washington Howard in Monroe Co, TN on 7/8/1847. I have been unable to prove her parentage. However, in 1840 there is a Thomas Eakins listed which could work. In 1850 household William Akins has a widow Jane age 60 which could also work since Eakins/Akins are often interchanged due to sound. I would appreciate your sending information which might help me in proving Nathan's brother Thomas is my Nancy line. I will be happy to provide her descendants that I have been able to locate.
