Lois Sarver Akers, 76, of Cocoa, FL (formerly of Blacksburg VA, died June 18, 2008, after a battle with lung cancer. Lois was born in Montgomery County, VA on September 18, 1931 to the late John Sarver and Amy Lee Hughes Sarver. In addition to her parents, Lois was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Cragett and a brother, Roy Sarver. Surviving Lois are daughters, Greta Faye Hardy and husband, John, and Rose Lee Gragett, all of Cocoa, Fla.; and a brother, Bill Sarver and wife Maxine of Charlottesville, Va. She is survived by four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Many cousins, other relatives and friends in the Blacksburg area also survive. Funeral and burial services were held in Cocoa on June 21, 2008. I have no genealogical connections with the deceased. This has been posted solely for genealogical reasons.
