    3. I am looking for information on my ggrandmother Mary Jane Akers. b. May19. 1850 and d. April 13, 1909. She married my ggrandfather John A. Matney. They are both buried in a cemetery in or around Wytheville. Va. They had several children, Alice, Fannie, Bessie, Effie, Joseph , James(died real young) and Leona W. Matney(my grandmother). MY ggrandmother died when my grandmother was 16 yearsold and my grandmother left Wytheville and went to Bluefield WVA where she met my grandfather. Any information on the Akers family would be great appreciated. Regards, Myra

Myra, I think I also found Fannie -- this listing is also in the East End Cemetery list Mrs. George McClintock owned 10 plots McClintock, George A. burial April 15, 1931 McClintock, Fannie C. burial December 23, 1936 Vaught, Annie burial December 18, 1966 Vaught, Thomas Oscar burial January 18, 1969 Plot 4 is empty Vaught, Thomas Edgar burial November 23, 1976 the other plots are empty more to come . . .
