Looking for any info about Akers who lived in Wythe County VA and surrounding counties. Specifically linking to Hansel Akers born in 1919 in Wythe Co.,VA. Hansel Married Mary Rakes. Both are still living they are my grandparents. Any info would be highly appreciated. Hansel says his fathers name was eaither Gordon Wenton or Wenton Gordon, but unsure if that is true.
