Hi Robin, I most likely got the information from Henry B. Brackin, Jr., M.D. He has done a lot of research on the Akers and Blackburn family and is very respected in this area. I have seen like information from other Akers researchers. Hope they didn't get the same information from Doctor Brackin. But, I feel it is pretty accurate. But, like any information on our ancestors back 200 years ago, documentation is very hard to come by, especially for us "po folks". Even the census only listed the name of the household. I will send you the children and grandchildren of Adam Akers and Nancy Altizer. Any other help you may need, just ask.
