Is Sullivan Co., Missouri anywhere near Nodaway Co., Missouri? We had AKERS living there at one time. First names (Brothers), William Francis, Joseph, Eli, Henry, Andrew. Fathers name was William John Akers. This family was from Ohio. Elise A.

This could be William J Akers son of William & Perdelia but I believe he was born in KY. Can you provide some dates if you think there is a match? Here's what I have: My gg grandfather William Akers married Perdelia Pitman in 1824 in Clay Co. KY. They lived in Owsley & Estil Counties KY & had 11 children 1/Clifton P- b. abt.1826 2/Ann - b. abt. 1828 3/William J. (could be John?) b. about 1829 4/John Jones b. 03FEB1830 - married Amanda M. See 1853 in Owsley Co. KY d. 1904 Sullivan Co.
