    3. Dear Alice, Looking over my notes, this is what I have. I have a Simon Akers, died in Hunterdon County, NJ in 1722 he married but do not have the name of his wife. They had the following children: Simon the second who married in Edgemont township, Chester County, PA in 1715 ROBERT, b. 1703 in NJ; married a woman named Sarah, (no last name) who was born March 13, 1706. John the first married a woman named Martha. Bought land in Amwell township, Hunterdon Co., NJ., in 1735. Children of John and Martha were: William the 2nd, Obadiah, Thomas, Susannah, Jonathan, Elsie. The Robert above married Sarah. Lived in NJ. They had the following children: William the third who was born in 1730 and died in 1810; married Elizabeth Martye (or Marte), from PA. So are you saying that the Robert above who married Sarah did not have a son named William who married Elizabeth Martye or I am getting my Williams mixed up. There are four in the line.
