How are you able to look at the DAR archives in Washington D.C., do they have a website. I have a great grandfather on my mothers side who was in the American Revolution. I have a copy of the application my aunt used but it isn't notarized. I would like to try and get a copy of the notarized application. I have the reference number of the application. I want to join the DAR but haven't got all my documents in order as of yet, I am working on it.
