Seeking information on Rev. M. W. Akers who was the pastor of the Harrisburg Baptist church, Van Buren county, Iowa, when he married Harriet E. Detwiler 1 Oct 1876. They eventually moved to Chicago where she died 29 Mar 1916. They had three children: M. Frank who was listed as a jeweler in Lewiston, Idaho in 1916; Dwight L, and Lou M. who married Rev. Jesse Dancey, pastor of Englewood M. E. Church. Rev. Akers had a son, D.C., from a prior marriage. Don Detwiler
