    3. I am searching for Information on the family of Andrew Jackson Ackors b. about 1830. He reported on civil war enlistment papers born Shelby Ohio. I have chosen to post this on the Akers list. As I have found my family under every concievable spellings of Ackors. Andrew Jackson Ackors sons report on various documents that thier father was born in Ireland. In the 1870 census of Montgomery county Missouri, Andrew (OH) was married to Matilda (MO) aged 26. Andrew Jackson's children are: Mary b. about. 1857 Louiza b. about 1859 Andrew b. about 1861 my gg-grandfather Grant b. about 1863 Sylvania b. about 1865 died Shelby Co. TN 1903 Dolly b. about 1866 Ernest b. about 1871 according to death cert. he was born Indiana Mothers name is reported as D.K. born VA Do these people ring any bells for any one ??
