Was in Washington Co. Indiana by 1817, in the 1820 census he is married, no children living next to Stephen Akers. In 1848, he purchased 40 acres in Sec. 13, T. 3N-R2E. In January 1854, the Adm. of Jesse Akers estate, John D. Thompson, sells that same tract of land to Mildred Ann Akers for $125.00 and is signed by the heirs listed above as the children.
