    3. I'm interested in your AKERS/PURCELL connection. My AKERS/BUSH?/PARE/VAUGHAN connection from Barren/Monroe Co, KY had a grandchild that went on to marry a PERSEL from IN. He was an orphan and I have no idea who his parents were. I now believe (thanks to the list) that my KY bunch went into IN, which is where George Washington PERSEL was born about 1842. By chance do you have him in your PERSEL information? Parents are unknown. Will turn over any stone.......thanks...Carmen >===== Original Message From AKERS-L@rootsweb.com ===== >Hello, > >Maybe this is part of the family that stopped for a while in Iowa on its way >to Utah. > >Jane Akers b. 1794 -- the daughter of Thomas Akers b. abt 1882 and Kate >Malone-- married Jesse Purcell.
