He was married to Ida Crawford and they had three children Berniece, Richard Powell and Ruby. I have newspaper copies of his death that occured in San Lorenzo, Mexico due to the fact that he and two others went to Mexico to return cattle stolen from a ranch that they worked at. If you would like a copy of these I would be glad to make a copy and mail to you. I have received these from my aunt Duesse Akers and a cousin, Darrel Akers. They have both passed away.
