    3. I have recently connect the dots from my Henry Warren AKERS to James A. AKERS and wife Martha Ann Helen OWENS, who were born 15 Aug. 1835 and 6 Apr. 1846, respectively, in VA. James became a physician and moved with his family to Raymondville, Texas County, MO. The names of their children, who were all born in VA (some in Washington Co.) were: William W. D. (who also became a physician); Arthur Cline; Winfield Scott; Lula, unnamed baby girl and Eliza Ethel b. 23 Jan 1882. William became a physician, served in the Spanish Am. War and settled in Tyrone, Texas Co., OK and had a son Homer. Arthur Cline married Lucy Alice BELL, d/o Isaac Ellsberry BELL and Mary Jane HENSLEY, 27 May 1893 in Texas Co., MO. A son, Luther Virgil AKERS was born 29 June 1895. Arthur and son Luther (Virgil as he was known) also settled in Tyrone, OK. Virgil married Imogene Maud Mildred BEALS 21 Jan 1916 in Liberal, KS. This couple had three girls, the eldest being Audrey Bess AKERS. Eliza married Dow N. ELLISON and after living for a time in OK moved to Kansas City, MO. Henry Warren, who also served with his brother William in the Spanish Am. War, married Effie May LEECH d/o Isaac J. LEECH and Sarah Ellen SHIPLEY, 13 Sept. 1895 in Texas County. The names of their children were: Naomi, Winnie, Arllie, and Gertrude. They lived in OK for a while and eventually settled in Kansas City, MO. James and Martha died in Texas County, MO and are buried in a family cemetery (AKERS Family) located in Lynch Twp. The dates of their death are given as 7 Jul 1890 (him) and 28 May 1909 (her). Anyone recognizing these names and wishing to exchange information, I would greatly appreciate it. Arlene AKERS Krings
