She married Joseph Sutherland b: abt. 1805 in KY Married: abt. 1830 IN the 1830 Greenville, Floyd Co., IN. Fed. Census: Children: Leonard b: abt. 1827 (Joseph child by prev. marriage?) Lucinda Sutherland b: abt. 1830 Noah Sutherland b: abt. 1834 Elizabeth Sutherland b: abt. 1837 Andrew G. Sutherland b: abt. 1839 Sarah Sutherland b: abt. 1844 Ede Sutherland b: abt. 1848 We do have a Lewis Ingram who lived in Washington, Daviess, Indiana in 1880. Also in in that same census is: John H. Akers age 39 b: IN. shoemaker wife: Sarah Akers age. 37 Children: Elizabeth N. age 12 Arena A. age 11 Belle A. age. 9 SARAH SUTHERLAND MOTHER-IN-LAW age. 74 b: TN Jennie Patterson other age 18 survant. All born INDIANA except Sarah Sutherland Could this be the Sarah Ingram who married Joseph? Also same census is: Leonard Sutherland age 52 carpenter Wife: Lydia J. Children: Willaim S. age. 17 Laura age 14 Lizi C. age 12 Cora E. age 7 Tice Laur age 5 Charles J. 3 months Andrew J. Nephew age 18 All born INDIANA Sarah and Joseph's boy Leonard? In the 1880 Fed. Census in Hazleton, Gibson, INdiana there is a Noah Sutherland. Could be Sarah and Joseph's son. Noah Sutherland age 46 works on RR Wife: Sarah C. age 35 b: KY Children: Margaret age 18 Andrew age 19 James age 10 Thomas Lowe sson age 14 Mary Lowe sdau age 8 Noah age 3. all born INDIANA but Sarah C. Can anyone tell me if I am on the right path here? Did your John H. Akers and Sarah take care of her mother in 1880? In Oct. of 1845 Sarah and Joseph along with 3 of her brothers sold their part of thier father's inheritance to Lewis Ingram - who eventually lived in Washington, Daviess, Indiana.
