Hello Vee & Lois, My Willism Akers died in 1841, Shawneetown, Iliinois. He is first seen in that that county on the 1810 census. When he died in 1841 he had grown children so the families researching him put his birth about 1790. His son, William (my direct ancestor), lists his father's birthplace as Ohio in the 1880 census.
