My grandmother was Pearl Aker b. 1905 d. 1990 in Harlan Co, m. McKinley Brock Sr,(my gfather) then John Blanton, then Beaty L Saylor. She outlived all three. Pearl's siblings: Eugene, Edward, H.C.,Bea, Annie and Nan (twins), Ruby. Pearl's father was Ulysses "Bud" Aker, b. 1874 d. 1960 in Harlan Co, who married Anory (Lonie) Brock b. 1879 d. prior to 1960 As Pearl's mother was a Brock, and Pearl married a Brock, I am related to Brocks two different ways.
