Debbie, I don't have anything on your Aker's but ran into this. Nancy Gearhart married Abraham Boone (his second wife)on 12-31-1806. Abraham's parents moved in 1807 to Montgomery County in the part that became Floyd County. Have more info on this family if it connects.
