Valentine, Solomon and Blackburn are listed in the Montgomery County, Virginia 1782 Tax List or Census. Valentine and Solomon are the children of Blackburn. Solomon is mentioned in his grandfather's (John Blackburn???) will. William Akers is Blackburn's father, but I don't believe the William mentioned by Pheonixrayne@aol.com. This William is supposewdly the William of Franklin County, VA. Blackburn's father lived in Amelia County (I Think????) Got to get my records out.
