    3. Craig, Please include me in your response. My Akers line moved from Penn, to Ohio, to Indiana. I start with Frederick Akers and the dates look pretty close also. I have information to share if we find a link. Thanks so much Brenda Bloomer -----Original Message----- From: CraigH9557@aol.com [mailto:CraigH9557@aol.com] Sent: Wednesday, January 26, 2000 8:41 PM To: AKERS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: William Akers I, Rappahannock-Essex Co VA Diana Somehow I received your message to Earl. I am related to the Akers family and have been doing research also. Our family seems to go back to Jesse Akers who was born in New Jersey in 1769 and lived in NY in 1810, indiana, 1820, Ohio 1822-1845. Some of his children moved to Adams Co. Illinois. There is also an Akers family actually we think these are all the same family including the Va. ones. who moved from NJ into Pa around 1770-1820. I will send you info on these families if you wish.
