Seeking any information on the following family. John, Henry & Wm were all in Estill Co., KY in 1820 census. Henry left c1829. Other 2 stayed in Estill area, but would live in other counties as they were formed from Estill. It is believed they lived near St. Helens, presently in Lee Co., KY. John served in War of 1812. There may be a connection between these Estill Co. AKERS & the AKERS of Pulaski Co. I would like to make contact with a researcher of that family so we can compare notes. Also would like to exchange with descendants of Simon AKERS & Mary SMITH who m. in Greenbrier Co., VA & moved c1798 to Highland Co., OH area. Simon d. c1826. will left everything to wife Mary.
