Diana- Andrew Jackson Akers was born in 1829. His siblings were born to 2 different mothers and range from ca 1800-10 to the last, Flavius Josephus, in 1831. Their father was William Akers, who appears to be the one to move the family there quite early in Illinois' history. The first mother is unknown but appears to be dead by 1820 and buried in Shawnee twp., Gallatin co., Ill. The second wife was Elizabeth Todd, likely of Ky., died between 1831-40.
