My great-grandmother, Hannah Cathrine (Kate) Akers was born 1845 in IL, to David G Akers and Nancy Phoebe Hollembeak Akers. Her siblings were: George, born IL ca 1847 and Emeline born IL ca 1852. In AUG 1866, Hannah Cathrine married Samuel Karr Hull and abt 1880 the moved to Washington Territory. Sam was the first Constable of the newly formed Garfield County, WA, later the 2nd Sheriff, a Deputy U S Marshall, auctioneer, and farmer. Hannah Cathrine passed away in 1927 and Sam in 1928.
