Annie Mae Acors, age 74, of Partlow, died August 21, 2000 at Mary Washington Hospital. The widow of Lloyd Marie Acors, she is survived by two sons, Vernon Acors of Partlow and Bill Acors of Ashland; two sisters, Violet Payne of Fredericksburg and Shirley Carter of Ashland; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of devoted friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Spotsylvania Chapel. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2000, at Waller's Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
