NAME m SPOUSE Akers, Arthur m Hazelton, Daisy Akers, Clotilda Akers, David Akers, Frances Akers, Howard Akers, Jessa Akers, Kenneth Akers, Leonard m Hazelton, Ella Akers, Marvin m Rock, Ellen Akers, Ralph Akers, Rex A genealogy listing all of the descendants of Richard Gilpin and Mary Bortree was prepared by the Gilpin Family Reunion in 1927. Richard and Mary emigrated from Ireland in 1809 and settled in North East Pennsylvania in Wayne County. The information on their 1,135 descendants, born before 1927, and their spouses consists mostly of names and shows the relationships. The only date included is, if they died before 1927 that is indicated. In most branches there are six generations shown and some branches have part of the seventh although many in those generations do not yet have spouses. The first is a two page introduction explaining the background of the information. Next is a 21 page alphabetical index that lists all the names alphabetically and shows spouses names. Then there are two versions of the genealogical list that both contain the same information but present it in different formats, one is 26 pages and the other is 27 pages.
