Nellie Akers Easter, 91, of Peterstown, formerly of Elgood, WV, died January 19th, 2001 at the Princeton Community Hospital. Nellie was born January 4th, 1910 at Elgood, WV. Nellie was the daughter of Noah and Roenna Hylton Akers. Nellie was preceded in death by a devoted husband of 69 year, Charles Dewey Easter; daughter, Mary Lee Matherly; son Noah Matthew Easter; sisters Hattie Harvey, Lula Skeens, Mae Cheat- wood; and brothers Nathan and Joshua Akers. Nellie is survived by two daughters, Juanita Bowling and Fannie White; three sons, Wayne Easter, Leslie Easter and Billy Jo Ea- ster; one brother Major Akers.; 21 grandchildren; 48 great-grand children; and 32 great-great grandchildren.
