    3. Hello Brenda, As far as I know there are no Fredrick Akers in my line. My William is found in 1809 Shawneetown, Illinois and the family stays in that area until 1865. Then they all disappear until 1881 Geo. W. appears in Chicago, Ill. I don't know what happened to the rest of that family in the 'lost' years. I had the Indiana soundex 1880 but there were no Fredrick Akers listed as 'head of household'. Sorry I couldn't be of help. 2. Hi, I have been trying to locate a Mort or Wort...or Moat or Wirt...those names could have been short for another name...I am not sure...I think maybe they were twins...He had two or three children before my mother..I don't believe any relatives knows that he had another child born in June of 1922 , except for his brother...as he was married at that time.....the only information I have is that they were from WV..Wyoming, Logan, or Boone County to the best of my knowledge...He would be my biological grandfather....He was born around 1895 to 1905....some where in that time frame...I have had no luck at all and would appreciate any help ...I am just searching my biological back ground . Thanks in advance for any information......Can email me at Crichenri@aol.com THANKS AGAIN..

    3. Hi Arlene I've been looking for information regarding my grandfather, William M. Acree born 1881 in Missouri. Married Judah ?? also born in Missouri. They had two children Tilly and Charley. Moved to Oklahoma before 1910. Judah past away and William M. Acree married Ruby Johnson, had three children, Jessie, George, and Arthur. If you have any information on William M. Acree I would really appreciate it. I do not know what county he was born or resided in. Thanks. ---------- > From: Arlene Hetchler <ahetch@yahoo.com> > To: AKERS-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: Akers in Va.&Wv. > Date: Thursday, August 19, 1999 2:15 PM > > Hello Akers Listers, > I have the Akers soundex, 1880 for Missouri, Kansas, > Kentucy and Indiana for the next week or so.
