    3. This is just a form, not a chart of specific people. I used this is American History just yesterday to explain to the kids how Benjamin Franklin is my 1st cousin 8 times removed. :>) I love telling them that. 3. If the chart is a "people" chart, as opposed to a relationship (second cousin twice removed), I would very much appreciate the chart. I am researching the Akers line as it goes into SE Kentucky (Estill, Owsley and Lee County), seeking ancestors of the John, Henry and William Akers brothers, born circa 1790. John Akers (also recorded as 'Acres') married a Martha "Patsy" McGuire in 1815. 3. Dear Jack, I am looking for more information on my Akers line, which was my mother, Irma Akers father. A John Dempsey Akers and his father John Dempsey Akers. They were part of a line that included James Holmes Akers, first sheriff of Carter County, Oklahoma, circa 1905 and Layfayette Jones Akers, who was a democratic delegate to the first state convention when Oklahoma became a state in 1908. The father a George Akers , I think, and wife, originally were around Grayson County Texas and I believe died or were buried around Plainview Texas. I would be interested in your cousins chart to see if it includes any in my Akers heritage. Thank you for your email. 3. Hello Jack, I would be interested in your chart even though our line is probably not on it. It would be interesting to see though. We are first found in Shawneetown, IL 1841 and then branch out all over the US. Nothing verified before that time. Thanks for taking time for this venture. 2. Thank you very much. We have been searching for him or I should say his parents for a long time with no luck. Another wonderful person on one of the other mailing list did find my Julia in the 1850 Pulaski County, VA census records. I felt really dumb when they did find her since I had been over the census many times and obvious over looked her every time. Any help that can be given to me and my one cousin would be very much appreciated since my cousins mother is 84 and is the great granddaughter of Jesse and has also been looking but cannot find anything. Also, if you find that Jesse is in your line, I have a picture of him and his wife Julia that I can send you if you want it. Thank you for looking, Esther

I will certainly stay in touch and let you have anything which shows up, meantime I will send to your own address a scan of the Akers family on the 1901, so plse watch out for an attachment which will have been scanned for viruses by Norton.
