Burried Eganstown, Vic, Austr Occupation: Artist/ painter Arrived in Australia, Melb on 8 August 1853 on the 'Euphrasia' from New York. Parents may be Edward Manners and Isabella Cooper Wife: Nancy Beardsley Ainsworth (a quaker) born: c1804 in Vermont, USA Died: 20 December 1891 aged 85, burried in Eganstown, Vic, Austalia said to be grand-daughter of Senator Levi Beardsley Children: 1. Edmund born: 2 Sept 1845 Oswego, NY, USA Died:13 April 1899, Kalgoorlie, WA, Australia 2. Alfred born: 5 Dec 1847, Oswego, NY, USA Died 23 Nov 1849 Burried: Dixon, Illinois, USA 3. Mary Nancy born: 12 Dec 1850 Dixon, Lee County, Il Died: 24 Aug 1852 Burried: Dixon, Lee County, Illinois, USA John Morton Manners may have had a brother George who came to Western Australia in 1842 I hope this helps.
