No problem with the John/Richard thing, albeit, I was momentarily confused. As far as where Padiham and all those other places are, I have absolutely no idea, as I do live in the States. What is the FRC? As far as what records I've used, I've been able to find out the marriage date for John and Rachel (Hoerne/Horne) Ainsworth at FamilySearch.com. So far, I've not been able to find out anything else online. My mom has a dear online friend whose passion is genealogy and she's been helping us do some family research. She's the one who found out that William's (my gr-grandfather) parents were John and Rachel, and that John's parents were John and Agnes. The dates I have for John II are: Born: April 2, 1863 in Harwood, England Died: July 21, 1919 in Dalton, Washington, USA I don't have any dates for John Ainsworth I (Agnes' husband). William was born April 2, 1890 in Garrettsville, Ohio, USA. I would greatly appreciate any help you could give me. And, if I come across anything for a Martha Ainsworth/Matthew Townend, I'll be sure to pass it on to you.
