I'm fairly sure that she was born in the Wesat Riding of Yorkshire... I think Padiham is in the lake district, isn't it? I don't have an atlas to hand to make sure, but I will go look it up as soon as I get home. Ainsworth is not that uncommon a name in the north of England, apparantly especially in the Yorkshire are, although, but it's not terribly common outside of the area. I'd be interested to hear more on your Ainsworth, as then I can keep my eye open for anything relevant to you... I take it you're in the States?
