Brief summary is >From the Greensburt Daily News Mondy Feb.1925 Charles I Ainsworth died sunday he was born in Nicholas county KY in Aug 5 1843.He parents where a Tillman and Nancy West Ainsworth.His father came to Decatur in 1855. In 1863 the family moved to St. Elmo, Ill where his father died in 1887 and mother in 1885(it does not mention his parents names) He married a Rachel M Kitchin sept 13, 1865 and in 1867 settled on a farm in Jackson twp .He was an Oddfellow,a Mason and a former commander of Post No.5,G.A.R..He is survived by 8 children Dr. Charles B.,Ira M.,Mrs. Watson(clara) Gilmour, Mrs. Jacob (Jessie) Scherer, Mrs Clint(grace) Edkins, all of this county: and Wayne T., at home and.......then the page is cut off.
