In the 1790 Census>NC>Burke County, there was a James Ainswoth living near the families of John, Samuel and Thomas Wilson. Did one of the Wilson children marry an Ainsworth? Sarah Ainsworth Wilson married Tilman Blalock in Burke County, NC. Tilman and Sarah are my Great-Great-Grandparents. If you have any information, suggestions or hints, please let me know.
