I am searching for the parents of Mary Ann Ainsworth. She was born 1826 in Alabama. She married Asa Ellis about 1842 probably in Conecuh Co., AL. They were on the 1850 census of Conecuh Co., AL. They moved to Leon Co., TX about 1852/3. They were there on deed records. Also on deed records in Leon Co., TX 1853 were James P. Ainsworth and Joab Ainsworth. Asa and Mary Ann (Ainsworth) Ellis moved to Palo Pinto Co., TX and then by 1880 they were in Menard Co., TX. I know some of the other Ainsworth families made this same migration trek. I cannot find anyone with a missing Mary Ann "Pollyann" Ainsworth. Is it possible that James P. Ainsworth had a daughter named Mary Ann that know one knows about since she was already married by the 1850 census when children were listed with their parents????????
