You might start looking for Ainsworth in Lancastershire (Lancashire?). I, too, have Ainsworth ancestry, and am looking for a John Ainsworth who was born April 2, 1863 in Harwood, England (I believe that's in Lancashire), and whose wife was named Rachel Hoerne (Horne), who was born January 28, 1859 in Manchester, and any of their family. John and Rachel came to Ohio around 1888 and it was there that my great-grandfather, William Edward Ainsworth, was born in 1896. Anyway, that might be a good starting point from which to jump.
