You answered my inquiry once before on Nancy's parents, Patterson Crockett & Nancy Gray. My genealologist in Utah has been working on this family for me and suggested I put out requests for information on the different children's husbands to see if we could come across more info on Patterson & Nancy. She is 99% sure that my great grandmother, Rebecca Crockett was their daughter too, but she doesn't show up in any of the records we have seen. We know they married in 1810 in KY & in the 1810 census had l child. Because of all the names that keep showing up down thru the family, we are sure this is where she fits in. The Grays & the Crocketts and the Woods (Edmund Wood, my ggrandfather) were living near each other in some of the other censuses. Patterson is a brother to Davey Crockett. He used to let us eat peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon, would make his dentures shoot back and fourth out of his mouth, would put a ciggarette backwards in his mouth and blow smoke out of the butt end, and of course told us about George the alligator under his bed.
