I have a gun that onced belonged to him . according to london gun makers ( cogswell & harrison ) the gun was picked up in 1885 on christmas eve by him in london england . The gun ended up in my hands here in ky . I have the beginning and the end but nothing in the middle . With a mr Duckworth how borught the other side of the land. He was also a inportant member of the council. Don, Here is the information I have on the HIRAM AINSWORTH in my husband's family: Occupation: Farmer Born circa 1819, England Married Eliza Catherine Greaves, July 5, 1846, Britania Bridge, Isle of Angelsea, North Wales Died December 8 or 18, 1872, Marengo, McHenry County, Illinois Buried at Marengo City Cemetery. If you find any information that ties in with this HIRAM, I would appreciate anything you would like to share. I am working on the Greaves family for my husband's children and grandchildren.
