I've "rescued" an old photograph of Guy Ainsworth of Fayette, Iowa taken at the Monroe Studio in Fayette. The photograph was probably taken in the 1880's or 1890's with Guy appearing to be in his 20's at the time. In addition to his name someone has noted that he attended Upper Iowa University on the back of the photograph. I'm hoping to locate someone from his family so that this precious old photograph can be returned to its rightful place with family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

Don, It is possible that the Hiram Ainsworth you referred to is the HIRAM AINSWORTH who married ELIZA CATHERINE GREAVES. I am researching the Greaves family. They came from the Leeds area. HIRAM and ELIZA CATHERINE were married July 5, 1846, in Brittania Bridge, Isle of Angelsea, North Wales on July 5, 1846. I believe this was shortly before they emigrated to Canada and then to the United States. I have no information on the parents of HIRAM. If you make a connection somewhere, I would appreciate your letting me know. Mildred Patterson Flick
