After a number of years of dead ends I have finally found the following. May Ainsworth was the daughter of Everet M. Ainsworth born about 1854 in Vermont. Everet (Everett) moved to Buffalo County Wisconsin and married Ella Fuller daughter of Steven and Sara Fuller of Buffalo county. Ella was also born in Vermont but it appears the couple married in Wisconsin. Their daughter May Ainsworth, my Grandmother, is the only child I have been able to identify. May A. (1882-1966) married Ervin Robert Frissell born abt 1882, in Wisconsin. His parents were also from Vermont. They lived in Hennepin County, Minnesota. Their children were: Robert (1909-1987) Eleanore M. (~1906-1931) Mary (~1911-) Jane E. (~1913-) Edward(Ned) L. (1918-1990) Patricia Annette (~1921-) Betty C. (~1913-)

Hi, Am preparing to go to the library in Salt Lake City and am trying to collect as much information on my lines as possible before I go. Ainsworth is one of the lines I am researching. I am descended from Permilia Ainsworth who married Aaron Rand. She was the daughter of Elijah Ainsworth and Rebecca Graves. I have that Elijah Ainsworth was the son of Daniel Ainsworth and Elizabeth Corbin. I don't have the dates or places that I need to double check and prove this information. Any help appreciated. Also are there any books out there published about this family that I could look up while there? Thanks Jennie __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Ainsworth married Mary Clifford Foster May 10, 1866 Ellis Co., Tx On the LDS site it says he is the son of Asbury Sebaistian Ainsworth and Rachel Ann Collins. This would make him a brother to William Levin and Hyram G. who married the House sisters. Also on the Ellis Co., TX site it says Mary Clifford is the daughter of William L. and Arrarat (Dunn) Foster. I am wondering if this is the parents of Gid G and James L. Ainsworth who were raised by their Uncle William Leonard Foster of Sterling Co., TX????? If anyone can help me with Mary C and Archibald Ainsworth I thank you in advance. Joan

I have compiled a book of Pioneer’s of Medina County, Ohio and remembered that I have seen that name in my search for my book. This book covers newspaper articles, wedding, deaths, mini biographies, court records, cemetery records for most of the cemeteries in Medina Co., and much more.. from as early as 1830’s to 1911. In some cases of death notices and marriages as well as the mini bio’s … family from other states are mentioned as well. Although I am bound by certain rules by my publisher, I will send along the names of those who are listed if you would like me to check and see if anyone your looking for would be included. Good luck in your search….I know I have spent hours just to find one piece of my family tree puzzle. Beverly Elizabeth

You have only half the info and assumed the rest........ Yipes! It sounds as if somebody gave you only one of the stories how Edward arrived here. 1st) Anchor wasn't on the ship 2) the ship may have also crashed much further up the coast. Remember there are 2 stories about the crash, IF IT HAPPENED AT ALL. One and only one of the 4 *family crests* when translated from the latin "COURAGE SANS PEUR" <--that means courage w/o fear or fearless courage. Nobody is sure is how long Anchor actually lived here. He bought some land in 1648 (I think) and had Daniel call for Edward. Whom might have been his nephew. I am dubious of the story on how he swam back to the ship since if it was in that good of shape then other should have survived. Especially if the gun powder made it. Ainsworth is not a trade name and the "WORTH" portion meant he had worth enough to be a land owner. The name I think goes back even earlier to 10! 66 though. I haven't done much research there as of yet.
