I made a mistake this morning when I said John Aills and Elias Stallcup were half-brothers. They were step-brothers. Elias Stallcup was the son of Rebecca Stallcup, married to John Stallcup. He married Sarah Voiers. John Aills was the son of Walker Aills and Elizabeth 'Betsy' Shackleford. He married Sarah's sister, Rebecca Voiers. Rebecca Stallcup and Walker Aills married so there children were step-siblings, not half-siblings. Liz found a marriage record in Mason Co., KY for Elias Stalcup and Sarah Voiers dated April 28, 1806. Sandra
