Here's an email I just received. I don't have a Matthew Ails. Does anyone else have Matthew? The John Stallcup d 1799 was the first husband of our Rebecca Stallcup married to Walker. Rebecca's husband, John was a surveyor in Mason Co. Can you let me know if you can answer the following questions? Maybe it is a Court typo error or maybe not, do you know if anyone has ever applied for these Court entries on the Ails/Aills. Of course I got the Rebecca "Ailts" (LOL) (it was to do with the estate of John Stallcup d1799). And John Stallcup d1799 had about 10 entries I got all them them. Most were to do with Court orders on his surveying. He was a surveyor for Mason County and also a tax collector for the district.
