I have resumed the research to break the brick wall that our Ailes line has had since 1986 and hope to get this forum moving again. Completed documents listing the Ailes Families in America and the Decendants of Stephen Ailes and Elizabeth Braken were handed down to me by my grandfather (these works were completed with the help of many Ailes families but written by John Ailes of California and Dorothy Weselman Ailes of Indiana). There are many copies of these works out there and I want to continue searching for our Ancestors to the "old country". I am willing to share my information if anyone has anthing more including sources on the Ancestors of Samuel Ailes born 19 Nov 1777 and died 19 Jan 1834 (some have 1831). I am the descendant of Samuel's first born Stephen Ailes (1810-1868) and Juliann Asher.
