Thanks, Karen. I think you are probably right, Elizabeth would not have been Walker's sister. The S. Carolina birth state won't work. I can't imagine an Aills being born in S. Carolina. Perhaps she is from N. Arkansas where the two Aills brothers lived, but still, the birth state doesn't work for our Aills. But, just the fact that Ackland was living with her leads me to believe that there was a family connection. Thanks again for the census. Marlene
