I gives me the opportunity to let everyone know I was not remembering correctly when I composed that email you referenced from my post on May 29, 2005. There are no documents in land records of Union County, Arkansas on James Wesley Aills buying property there. At the time I was thinking about the records in Mississippi and remembered incorrectly that they were in Arkansas. That's what I get for not confirming information before I post it. It leads to mistakes. I know you have the information in Mississippi. There's been discussion about John Cornelius Aills getting property at the same time, possibly from our mutual ancestor, Cornelius Carr, the father of Mathilda Carr and John's mother. As you're updating my ggggrandfather's file, please let me know if you find any other mistakes I may had inadvertently made when I've worked from memory. It obviously is not always good.
